Our vision and mission
COB FOUNDATION FOR AFRICA
We are not alone in our goal of contributing to sustainable social development. Many foundations, NGOs and organizations around the world are working towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. As an operating foundation, we develop concepts and programs together with regional partners. In this way, we create secure prospects for the future in Guinea-Bissau (West Africa) and strengthen the necessary social and economic structures.

Using technology in a resource-conserving and sustainable way
The focus of our work is the social impact that a technology can achieve in its specific environment. And in this respect, a new technology as well as one that has been tried and tested for years can significantly improve local conditions. Equally important for us is that the technologies provide ideas for how to approach the economic development. The basis for this is the fiscal consideration of putting the enormous resources of the African countries to use for the countries themselves. This ensures that, for example, the use of raw materials in African countries is made available mainly for infrastructure, education and economic growth.
